Joshua Hoffine Is a Horror Photographer who uses photoshop heavily in his work. I feel that some of the photographs he produces arent necessarily edited extremely well, however the concepts behind his images, where he plays with peoples fears is extremely well thought out.

Joe Lorrence

Joe Lorrence's photographs are often used as promotional shots for american television and also american music. I like his shots as they show personalities of the people in them. The contrasts and vivid lighting effects make these images extremely effective, alongside with his compositional talent and his use of colour schemes.

David Baily

I like these images from David Bailey as the Colours and use of macro photography is eyecatching, although i feel these images are also quite dull, with not much to look at.

Cindy Sherman

Cindy Sherman is a conceptual portrait photographer. Her work has a tendancy to show the essence of the peophe she is taking photos of. I like her photos a lot as she uses unconventional scenes, rather than a white backdrop studio room. Her Images always have high contrast and are extremely vivid.

Adam Saunders

Adam Saunders is a Young photographer from Manchester who uses lighting effects and colour schemes to create some pretty amazing images.
He mainly shoots alternative model photography, but also does photograph portraits, places and live bands. His like band shots have reminded me of the documentary photography of Nick Knights Skin Heads. While the model and fashion photography is well lit, often emphasising certain features of the model.

8/10. Although i enjoy his shots, many of them are very similar, and lit very similarly.

Nick Knight

Nick Knight is a Photographer with many talents, with his specialisations being documentary photography and Fashion photography. I Especially like his experimental fashion photography, as well as his black and white docomentary photography. In his documentary photography based on British "Skin Heads", I like the way that he uses lighting as well as black and white imagery, to give a greater contrast, making the image more striking and somewhat more emotional. Almost as a glimpse into somebodies past life or memories. His fashion photography has a completely different feel, almost as if they were taken by a completely different photographer. They are somewhat more menacing, making you wonder about the design process, and wether it tormented the designer.

This image reminds me of images taken by a Photographer Adam Saunders, who i will also include in my research.

8/10, i have given this score as i especially like the editing used. and the slow shutter speeds which give the image of multiple faces in his fashion photography

Annie Leibovitz
Annie Leibovitz As a photographer has shot many influential celebrities during her career, including a shot of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, which reached the front cover of Rolling Stones magazine. Many other Major publications have also shown Annies work, Like her Commissions for Disney and  Her more recent photographs of Lady GaGa for Vogue. I like her Original style in lighting and compositions in her work. Her Celebrity shots are composed so that they are more intimate, making the celebrity look somewhat more vunerable than other shots seen in the media. Whereas her disney shots are incredibly well edited and capture the magic that disney portrays to children, with an adult twist. 7/10
