So here i did my zombie photo, using an old photo of myself. I used GIMP. for this edit though. The original photo was taken with high saturation, and adjusable focus, backlit with a spotlight. The Edit however i overlayed an image of tree bark, used the burn tool to darken the skin in areas, and then i used the airbrush tool set to white to gently mist over the eyes
